User of only a prticualr region is facing this issue. We checked all the things like content server, reposiorty, DC 20.
We are using sap log on pad version 730 so similar error due to 710 is not applicable.We checked RFC desitation also in SM59 which is perfect.
Please suggest what could be the reason

Working in DMS module i have a document Type (JFF) wich must be linked to servarl documents (all the same document type but different from first one, for example CJL). The relationship is that all CJL with a supplier must be linked with one JFF with the same supplier, i mean there´s going to be a relation 1 JFF -- N CJL.
Then when i submit the CJL the link between this document and the document JFF with the same supplier must be created, but i don´t know where or how i might begin.

i'm looking for some insight with workflow for DMS:
I've two document types. Workflow is set to trigger, as the status of document is changed.
Two different worklfow templates get triggered for these two document types. Please check the attachment.
e.g. As shown below, document type CNO has Worklfow template WS91500064 triggered, while document type EDR has Worklfow template WS91500067 triggered.
I'm looking for the link between a document type and workflow template. I mean, question is why WS91500067 for EDR and WS91500064 for CNO.
My guess is something in document type defination/configuration is the difference.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am using the Trex 7.0 on windows 2003. My Landscape is ECC6 EHP7, which is recently upgraded from ECC6 SR3.
Now the my trex RFC are not working in the landscape after upgraded to EHP 7, previously it was working good.
My Question is Does EHP 7 is support the Trex 7.0 or not.
If Yes , please suggest me with a solution of why Trex is not connecting.
When i performing connection test in the GUI it is showing error as Program is unable to register.in the TREX Admint tool error showing as Gateway connection estableshed but Error in Gateway connection.
Today we are using DMS documents setted KPRO and keeping attachements at DMS_C1_ST proposed by standard SAP.
Now, we need change documents repository to Content Server HTTP, until now it´s OK. The doubt is, how migrate the old files, that had already been loaded in DMS_C1_ST, to the new Content Server ??? And after this, when we display a document in CV03N we´ll see the attachments ok in the new repository ???
There is a way to do this ??? If someone knows, please let me know.

I am sending the Change Management Master Record via SAP Mail to an other SAP user in SAP ERP 606.
The other user get this mail with the attachment of the Change Management Master Record but is not able to open it in change mode only in display mode.
How can I customize this. The changeability of this mail attachement is in the document attributes “507 not changeable”. How can I switch the default value to “505 – Changeable”.

So I try now with RSCMSLST, RSCMSEXL & RSCMSIM in 7 runs splitted files.

We stored some cases in archives (archiving object SCMG).
The case record is moved to a Content Server during a relocation program run.
Document contents are not archived, the system only archives the URL.
Сan anyoneanswer to my questions:
1. Archiving run creates files on server like BC_SCMG_20140915_101851_0.ARCHIVE
I think it is a content of tables, which were deleted during archiving run.
Also after archiving run in content server creates files and folders like:
ContRep->SCMGP01->ID1->doc_id
doc_id.prop
record.xml
What is this record.xml file? It is binary, but purpose of it content I don't know.
And what stored in content repository for object SCMG?
2. Before archiving in SAP system we can view attachments to cases.
How we can see them after archiving?

While downloading the .docx file in code the file gets downloaded properly. But when opening it locally it a message is shown that the file is corrupted and can be repared. When I clickon ok. It gets repaired. I didnt have the problem with .doc file. Internally, the MIME type of the .docx file is saved as 'application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document'. The .docx file is read from a content server as a binary file and also written on the application server as a binary file (line lenght 1022)
Can anyone tell why the contents of the file could not be viewed while opening in the application the file but can be viewed when saved as local file( the pop up information with a message that the file was corrupted and could be repaired appeared first. I choose the ok button for the file to be repaired and the content was then showed)?

I recently took over some OpenText Document Archiving tasks and there is one thing bugging me: Wherever I add the PDF Document Type I get the following error, when double-clicking the Document Type:
When the user selects the PDF Document Type with a single click and drag'n'drops a PDF into the white rectangle, there is no error and the file gets archived properly.
I found some tips to check OAA3 and OAA4, but anything I did modify there did not alter the result, so I changed everything back to how it was.
Here are the OAA4 settings:

The above issue is on ERP
While doing a test on ERD I noticed that there the PDF Document Types was not giving the error, but the JPG Document Type did.
ERD: JPG gives Error, PDF is OK.
ERQ: JPG gives Error, PDF is OK.
ERP: JPG is OK, PDF gives Error.
I noticed that in SM30 ( /IXOS/OA_DOCTYPE ) the PDF entry for WebViewer is missing (on all systems) when compared to the OpenText installation Guide, but since the table is the same on all 3 systems but the behavior is different on the 3 systems, I assume this is not related.

I have activated document browser and was able create folder structure.
As per clients requirement, We designed a department wise folder structure.
Example :
Main Folder 1
Main Folder 2
etc..
Under each main folder a sub folder is created to maintain specific DIR.
But in the system, there is no restrictions for document types under a sub folder, and we are able to create any DIR with any document type under a any sub folder.
So, could anyone suggest me a way out to restrict document types under a folder?

I have an issue with the function "print original" which is available in CV02N for example. In my DMS documents, the originals are pdf files stored online.
I found the customizing to define workstation application and defined the application %AUTO% for the application URL and application types 1 and 3. This is working perfectly for display option, when I click my browser opens and I view the PDF file.
But when I try to print, Adobe Reader opens without being able to read my online document and to print it.
Did anybody already have the same issue?

I am trying to migrate files into our DMS system using an LSMW. I did a recording for CV01N, set the fields including additional data, then uploaded the file, checked it in, and then saved. When I look at the recording, I see:
This doesn't let me specify the file path or how to choose which file to upload. Is there a way to do this using an LSMW?

We have a problem with list of original.
On the one DMS-document we automatically attached lots of original files.We need a instrument for quick searching by fields "description/Log Field" needed files in a list of Files.
I'll be glad any proposed solution.
