Load files in to DIRS when in Released status
Hi experts,
My client is using DMS from quiet some time. Recently due to server failure many files were not uploaded in to DIRS but DIRS were released.
Now he wants to do this excerise of loading the missed files in to the DIRs this is only for few of them hence we deicded to do to manully changing the configs. We have standard configs but i am not able achieve it.
I tried removin RE flag for the RE status, I tried setting the status of RE from locked to no status. I removed "Complete for ECM" also but anything i do the button to uplaod the document is still greyed out.
I checked many existing threads but was not able to get proper answer.
Any suggestions here please would be of great help

SAP MDG 7.0 attach a document while creating a new material master
Hi Friends,
In SAP MDG 7.0 I want to attach a document while creating a new material master, once the change request is activated in MDG,
the attached document should be visible(either in DMS or GOS) with created material in ECC
Please help by providing the necessary step to be performed to achieve the same

Easy DMS- Custom object Problem
Hi All,
In dms object linking there is no standard object for MIGO, I have created custom object type (Material Document) with reference to http://scn.sap.com/people/firoz.ashraf2/blog/2012/10/13/dms--linking-material-document-in-dir-and-displaying-the-attachments-in-migo and have done configuration
I am able to attach document through CV01N and search them in CV04N based on key field, this is working fine
My Issue is
In Easy DMS object link there i can find the Material Document tab with description but there are no columns (Key fields) in the screen, i can't link Document for material document through Easy DMS
We are using version of Easy DMS 7.1.4.9:

Lost originals in SAP DMS
Hello everybody
I´ve got a problem with the SAP DMS.
We started to append originals to one document information record by using the function CVAPI_DOC_CHECKIN about one year ago.
Everything worked great till July this year.
From day to day in transaction CV04N the document information record contained no originals.
The entries for these originals are missing in table DMS_CONT1_CD1 but still available in DMS_PH_CD1.
2 questions:
- What´s the reason for the disappearance of the links between the document information record and the originals?
- How can we restore them?

Get original path of DMS file (can be word / JPG / PDF ...)
Hello,
I need to open a DMS file (any type, especially word file) from outside program by passing
the path & filename by parameter (the outside program was written in VB) with ws_execute function.
I saw that in DRAW table I have such path but it's not working always, it have the first uplaod path but
not the current one (CV04N opens the doc from somewhere else).
How can I get this path ? from which table ? is SAP saving those file by them original kind (word for example) or any
other binnary way ?

SAP DMS Migration...
Hello,
The documents are present in one physical location on a server with DMS KPRO. These documents are to be migrated(copied) into another server(Another ECC ECC with DMS KPRO) with diferent physical location. The existing documents are to be accessible by the existing and as well new system.
Once the documents are migrated they has to be mapped with new document number.
I am not sure how the above requirement is done, as I am new to DMS. Any help will be highly appreciated.

How to check if the files attached to ME23n using GOS are stored in content server?
Hi All,
We are using Content server for GOS ME23n for attaching documents to SAP. The content server is running fine and the status is running. I need to make sure the files being attached are being stored on the content server and not to my ECC system database.
Please provide your in input on this. Your help is highly appreciated.

Link to PM Notification Item in Archivelink
Hello,
I'm trying to use Archivelink to store documents against a Notification Item.
The configuration is there to link to a Notification (Object BUS2080), but when I try to add the OAC3 configuration to attach to the Notification Item (QMFE... I think!), I can not see the "Item" application object in the SAPGui Archivelink button... but I do see the Task (see screenshot).
Interestingly, the Task application object does not appear to be configured in OAC3!
However... if I use OAAD to manually modify the file link to business object QMFE, this works fine. So I can store and retrieve using the Archivelink back-end, but cannot do so from the business object in SAPGui. I imagine that I have either used the wrong object or have done the configuration in the wrong place.... but if one of those is the case, I don't know the right object or the right place. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance.

In SPRO -> Document Management -> Control data -> Mantain screen for object link has:
SAP object: EKKO
Screen: 248
In SPRO -> Document Management -> Control data -> Mantain key fields has:
Table: EKKO
T-code: ME33K
Field name: EBELN
PID: BES
Table: EKPO
T-code: ME23N
Field name: EBELN
PID: BES
Field name: EBELP
PID: BSP
For this case 2 it´s OK but for case 1 has a problem (see attachment)
Object link Purchase Order OK
Object link RFQ not OK
Can you help me?

Check-out originals from Content Server to File server?
Hello Experts,
We have urgent requirement to check-out huge number of originals from the Content server and send to an application server (ftp server).
The input data that we can use to fetch the originals are PHOIO nunber or LOIO or Original File name.
I tested below function module but they does not seem to meet our requirements.
BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKOUTVIEW2 - Originals are checked-out to C:\Temp\
CV120_KPRO_CHECKOUT_TO_SERVER
CV120_KPRO_CHECKOUT_TO_TABLE
SDOK_PHIO_LOAD_CONTENT - here the content is written to table in binary mode.
CV120_DOC_GET_FILE
Also i tested program - DMS_KPRO_READ. In this case, manual action is required to select the path in front end where the originals needs to be checked-out.
Please help if you have suitable solutions.

Wrong text - Encoding error? (Unicode (Big Endian))
Hi Guys,
I have a problem while displaying a text from a skpro content repository in a SAP GUI. The coding is automatically set (Unicode (Big Endian)).
The characters shown are not readable(like chinese). When I switch the encoding in the SAP GUI I can read but it is only in display mode. When I open the next time I still have these stranges characters.
How can I fix this?

we have ECC 6 EHp 5
sap content server 6.40 with maxdb (on Win 2k8 Server)
we have SAP DMS also and EP 7.3 SP8 with KM
now our company wants to Move SAP Archiving & Document Access 10 by opentext
but where to start ?????
can anyone provide Hardware and software requirement ???
which component / add-on to be on ECC 6 ????

Documentum Integration with SAP ECC6.0
Hi,
Client wanted to Integrate Documentum with SAP ECC6.0.We have documntum specialist and SAP support.
But we have not done previously how exactly it works and who needs to do what?
I have found many SDN forums but could not find step by step docs.Also below documents could not find me the help

error while check out files in DMS
Dear all,
I want to create DMS document through FM. I am running
following two FM’s in a sequence.
- BAPI_DOCUMENT_Create
- BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
I have maintained all relevant configurations.
- when I am creating document through FM’s – it is creating document and check in
files perfectly, for same document I want to check out file (manually by
opening the document through CV03N) then it is giving me error :- Error while
checking out: Message no. 26254. - Same process if I follow manually then its working ( i.e. creating document and
check in files in CV01 , CV02/CV03)
Please suggest
